We All Should Communicate Compassionately

Just learned about a movement afoot to help people learn Nonviolent Communication (NVC) or compassionate communication.

The concept just really resonated with me, so I just had to share about it here.

I’m so grateful to members of my free online, KickSugar group. It was only because Linda, one of our members, that I learned about this way of communicating.

She said “This has helped me deal with people and myself so much better. I have much less stress with problem people.”

This is definitely worth learning about.

As the NVC site explains, “this approach in communication emphasizes compassion as he motivation for action rather than fear, guilt, shame, blame, coercion, threat or justification for punishment.

“In other words, it is about getting what you want for reasons you will not regret later.”

This is fascinating. You can even find a trainer to learn this technique.

What a cool group… As I’ve been wandering all over their website, I learned about their gratitude project, too..
