Halloween Bandits: ‘Fess Up, Parents, Do You Steal Candy From Your Kids?

Halloween-haunted parents, ‘fess up!

Are you a sugar bandit like the typical parent, who sneaks some 5 pieces of candy from your children’s trick-or-treat bags?

Does this sound like you? We want to know!

Have some fun with us as we jokingly own up to our sugar weaknesses.

These are the confessions of one mom:

"I used to be on a holy quest to keep my kids from eating their Halloween candy. I was just eating their candies for their own good. Better, I thought, that I eat it than that they did!"

I’m so proud of this mother for doing such insightful "sugary soul searching."

What’s more, this parent turned candy-stealing into a carefully calculated art form!

"I would take out the candy and take what I liked. For me it was a chance to have the candy bars of my youth."

Listen to her conclusion, though:

"It’s called tricking myself. Pun intended."

FYI, I’d gleefully and laughingly own up to my candy robbing days, but I don’t have kids from whom to steal.

But, if you ask me to ‘fess up about the many times I stole money
from my mom to buy candies, then you won’t be able to shut me up! LOL!
(Actually, I think there were only a few occasions where I did that.)
