Do You Push Yourself Too Hard?

overextended

Oh no, it’s happening again.

I’m not rushing into the arms of carbs or sweets or junk foods, but I’m now dealing with something that many women and men face.

I’ve overextended myself again.

Can you relate?

Many of us ladies and men have a to-do list that’s a mile long.

We need to go to the grocery store (preferably a good one for healthy nibbles and necessities), we need  to get that report done, and of course, we need to be there for our loved ones.

You know how it goes — the never-ending list errands go on and on and on.

Well, I’ve slipped yet again.

I’ve totally overextended myself.  And I’m so completely knocked out.

Sure, it may be the Lyme disease I got a few years back, and which periodically wipes me out.

Maybe it’s a cold or flu, which wants to come on strong. It’s been trying to get me for days.

Perhaps it’s that I overbooked myself with events and workshops and so on.

Put it this way: I’m to blame. I’ve been pushing myself really hard.

First, I staged my first-ever virtual event workshop to tell you how to Crush Your Cravings. I sought to give you great takeaway info from my four years of researching the subject.

Then, I went to a conference (an amazing one with PLF creator Jeff Walker).

Then, one of my best friends came to stay with me and we went to another awesome event with stellar speaker Bo Eason.

This week, I was supposed to go to another cool event with Lisa Sasevich.

But a few days ago, I felt so knocked out. I just couldn’t do anymore.

I just couldn’t sustain my former pace.

Now I’m home recovering — well, that and working on my Crush Your Cravings Boot Camp.

So it’s time out time for me.
