Do Junk Foods Make You Depressed?

When you’re depressed, do you turn to junk foods?

Then, do you get more depressed and gobble more junk foods?

For years, I’ve suspected and been convinced that there’s a bona fide connection.

Now yet another study, this one in Public Health Nutrition supports this junk foods-give-you-junky moods theory.

Read the conclusion of this study in Public Health Nutrition.

“Fast-food and commercial baked goods consumption may have a detrimental effect on depression risk.”

So the next time you feel depressed or discouraged or you’re in a dark place and re ready to pig out on carbage (carb garbage), remember that if you feel blue now, you’ll be more down in the dumps after stuffing your face with processed sweets or carbs.

Just think about it.

Did you feel depressed the last few times you overate fast foods or commercial baked goods?
