Twitter Talk on Tuesday — Get the Scoop About this Social Networking Phenomenon on Sept. 9 & Tweet At the Same Time

I’m back! That nasty tick-triggered Lyme disease is moving on out of my body (yeah!) and my crazy symptoms like cognitive confusion, headaches and fatigue are subsiding but, alas, still lingering, too, I’m resuming with my Gab With the Gurus Radio Show on the fabulous Blog Talk Radio on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 3 p.m. Eastern time.

My first show since the Lyme disease show last month will be about Twitter, the microblogging service dedicated to helping you stay connected with your friends, loved ones and co–workers by exhanging quick comments (less than 140 characters), answering the simple question, "What are you doing?"

I don’t you, but I’m terribly curious about this amazing social phenomenon, as I blogged about recently.

So let’s learn together why Twitter is all the rage. We — and, by that I mean a panel of really top Twitter gurus (will supply names shortly) — will chat about:

  • What is Twitter?
  • What’s the best way to use it?
  • Is tweeting a time drain?
  • Is Twitter teaching tweeters to get to the darn point already? (Isn’t it cool how people are learning that the glory of brevity? Short is sweet, isn’t it?)
  • How can Twitter be used as a brand builder and powerful networking tool?
  • What are some cool Twitter tales? (You know, like people who’ve met and made contact via tweeting, leading to some amazing joint event or project. Or can Twitter be liberating? I’m using "liberating" for a reason here — my favorite story to date is about how American journalist James Buck twittered his way out of jail in Egypt using one-word tweets. Fascinating! Read more here. Let’s hear about that — and more.

So join in the Twitter fun! Get Twitter-educated on Tuesday at 3 p.m. Eastern on my Gab With the Gurus Radio Show. As always, if you miss the show, you can listen later.

Stay tuned for details about which experts will be on the show. I’m aiming for the top gurus out there.

Please note: You’re encouraged to sign up for Twitter before my show begins on Tuesday. Then, during the Gab With the Gurus show, tweet your whole social network.

I’ve never done anything like this before, and I’m really excited by the possibility. (Getting passionate about the idea of people tweeting as my show is live sure helps me to overlook my Lyme headaches and brain fog. : )

FYI, if you’ve noticed, Dr. Keith Ablow was originally scheduled for this show, but due to a family emergency, he had to back out. He’s coming on my show Oct. 7 instead.

Of course, for show details, keep checking my sweet, non-trivial Tweets at www.Twitter.com/conniebennett
