I'm seeking gregarious, health-minded, warm, compassionate, positive-thinking, dedicated, gregarious, hard-working people –of any age or sex — to serve as my interns or volunteers.
Internship and volunteer positions are available immediately so that I can continue to serve as many people as possible — preferably millions — do so more efficiently and not be over-extended in the process.
At present, I'm seeking interns for the following positions:
- Assistant Radio Producer Intern for Gab with the Gurus Radio Show. For my radio show, I interview experts in a variety of fields, including health, personal empowerment, relationships, fitness and social media. Guests have included Suzanne Somers, Lisa Rinna, internet guru Robert Scoble, Montel Williams, Marcy Shimoff and many more. Intern would help book guests, write press releases about upcoming shows, tweet quotable comments during shows, spread the word about shows and verify quotes when used later. (Great for journalism or grad school credit. Experience needed in writing, tweeting and journalism. Unpaid position, but you will get weekly, group coaching — life or health coaching.)
- Social Media & Social Network Coordinator Intern: This person would help build my social media and launch a new, supportive social network site on my website. (This would replace the www.StopSugarShock.com site on Ning.) Experience in social media required. Knowledge of HTML and design is helpful. (Unpaid position, but you'll get weekly group coaching and valuable experience.)
- Research Assistant & Writer Intern: Conduct research and writing as needed for my next book, blog and articles. Journalism experience is needed. (Unpaid position, but you could get school credit and a great item to add to your resume. You'll also get group coaching.
- Graphic Design Intern: This person would help update or set up sites. (Experience required. A student is fine.) You also get group coaching.
- Video Coordinator Intern: This person, ideally a video student, would shoot videos and oversee their production and posting on YouTube. You'll join group coaching, too.
- Author's Assistant: Help book speaking engagements, coordinate my coaching schedule, plan and implement my teleseminar programs, assist during my workshops, help members of my programs, and more. (Paid position. Coaching offered, too.)
In addition, I'm seeking Valuable Volunteers. In this instance, it's ideal if you have or have overcome a sugar addiction. Health coaches and counselors are welcome to apply.
- Assistant Volunteer Moderators for Stop Sugar Shock social network: Need several people to help manage the conversations on my new social network site, soon to be launced on my website. (This will replace www.StopSugarShock.com — currently on Ning — and KickSugar — now on Yahoo. (Volunteer position, but you'll get weekly group coaching. Having sugar issues is fine, because you'll be able to speak kindly and compassionately to fellow members.)
All candidates must possess:
- A strong interest in health, wellness and fitness. (It's OK to have a sugar addiction or weight challenges, but you must be committed to changing and to giving feedback to me on my programs so that I can help people like you. The coaching will help you.)
- A strong desire to help others and to give back.
- A love for books and cutting-edge programs.
- An optimistic attitude.
- A belief in the Law of Attraction.
- Some familiarity with my book Sugar Shock!, my Gab with the Gurus Radio Show, my Sugar Shock Blog, my Facebook page, Tweets, etc. (It's OK if you're learning about me now.)
If interested in any of the above positions, please contact me immediately.
Wondering who's been doing all of these things? Yours truly!
Obviously, I've neglected a number of these projects at any given time because there's so much I want to do, and I'm just one person. In the past, I've had assistants but not for a while.
Also, as I've shared here recently, I'm still recovering from smashing into glass on July 4 and my concussive symptoms such as headaches. So I could use help more than ever.
And, frankly, I need MORE time for me so I can serve you better and more efficiently. Plus, I'll be happier and more fulfilled, which will beneift you.
What a relief to think of getting help so I'm not divided in so many diferent directions doing so much! (Frankly, my head hurts just to think of all I do.)
How can I ever follow the fabulous advice of Cheryl Richardson to develop The Art of Extreme Self-Care if I'm working so hard?
Do you know someone who could help me out? Please let me know ASAP. And please spread the word, too, to qualified people.
