We’ve heard a lot about the many benefits of omega-3 fats to help our circulatory system, improve our moods and blood sugar levels, as well as lower inflammation and blood pressure. Now a study suggests that they can help our bones, too.
A new study published in the September Journal of Urology measured the bone density of 247 older adults and found a significant correlation between omega-3 intake and bone strength.
Cool, eh? Thanks to nutrition expert and friend Jonny Bowden for the heads up on this study.
