One Quick Question to Guide You Through the Holidays

While you’re off celebrating with family and friends, it can be easy to cave into temptation and fill yourself with sugary, fatty, salty foods.

To help you breeze through holiday celebrations this year, I invite you to ask yourself one question: “Do I Want to be Slim or Get Instant Gratification?

Then pause for one minute. Just answering this one question can help to get you started on the right path to eating healthy foods.

Don’t worry if you don’t change your behavior right away. You’re headed in a healthier direction just by beginning to think about eating better.

  1. Good tip. I always ask myself ” How will I feel tomorrow morning when I weigh myself?”
Wouldn’t I rather be half to 1lb lighter?

  2. Yes, that’s a great idea, Evelyn! Good for you! The other thing to consider is how you’ll feel “the day after.” Tired, hungover (people get a sugar or carb hangover like from alcohol), unfocused, angry at yourself, etc.

  3. Thanks so much for the very simple tip. That is what I need right now, something simple and easy to remember that works.
