You may already know that I'm author of the book SUGAR SHOCK! Although I've penned a book about sugar, I always like to share other books about the topic that also can help you.
Therefore, I invite you to join me on March 31 at 2 pm EST when I interview Dr. Jacob Teitelbuam, author of Beat Sugar Addiction Now on my Gab with the Gurus Radio Show on March 31 at 2 pm EST. You also can listen to the show later.
This sugar-themed radio show — which is, in part, in honor of my 12 years off sugar (on April 15) — also will feature successful Sugar Kickers, who will reveal how their lives have changed by removing the sweet substance from their lives.
If you would like help to Break Free of Your Sugar Addiction, I invite you to join my upcoming 5-week program, which you can learn more about here.
You can watch Dr. Teitelbaum's interview below with Good Morning America.

This is a really helpful book. I was especially excited when I saw Dr. Christiane Northrup’s endorsement on the cover. She is such an important voice in the women’s health movement, and seeing her name on the cover was enough to convince me. When I got the book home, it helped me realize that I am what Dr. Teitelbaum calls a “Type 4” sugar addict, which is directly linked to my hormones. So this book can help me not only feel better, but also feel better as a post-menopausal woman. I thought it would help me lose weight and maybe get sick less often, but after reading about my addiction and beginning my treatment I think it will help me in all the “womanly” areas of my life.
I especially loved that instead of going “cold turkey”, there are gradual steps I can take. I have only been on the regimen for about a week, but I look forward to improvement quickly. I am very excited that following this plan may help me become a better wife and grandmother by giving me more energy and helping me regulate my moods.
This book is not just for women either. There are all kinds of sugar addicts, including men, and I would recommend checking it out if you feel tired or grumpy or stressed out. I hadn’t realized just how many problems were linked to diet in general and sugar intake specifically. I can’t say enough good things about this and it has really changed how I look at what I eat.
