Are You Enjoying Tasty Cherries?

Often people ask me what they can do to quit thinking — well, really more like stop obsessing — about sugary foods and how to quit binging on them.

One of my favorite tips is to encourage you to begin to taste and then relish fresh fruits in season. This is truly one of the most simple new habits to put into action.

For instance, today I bought some glorious, succulent, organic cherries. Absolutely yummy! A lot more fun and tasty than those red licorice I used to consume in abundance!

Actually, as renowned Jonny Bowden mentioned on Stop SUGAR SHOCK! Radio Show last night, cherries are one of nature’s most wonderful foods.

For instance, they’re low in calories and a good source of potassium.

But that’s not all. As Jonny observes on pages 105-106 of his book, The 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth, cherries are "loaded with anti-inflammatory, antiaging and anti cancer compounds that don’t show up on your average nutrition facts label."

Jonny will help you to lose weight — he gives you some simple, but effective diet tips. Then, when I put him on the spot, he discusses his top 10 favorite healthy foods. Of course, he delves into another 140 of them in his book, 150 Healthiest Foods on Earth.

Listen now to the interview with Jonny on the second Stop SUGAR SHOCK! Radio Show.

By the way, I’m eager to get more feedback from you. Do you like the new show — other than the fact that I had some snafus with the technology?
