I’m lucky to be alive tonight.
A few hours ago, an idiotic, inattentive, inconsiderate driver — carelessly, mindlessly talking into his hand-held cell phone — nearly ran me over.
This was supposed to be a quiet relaxing evening, the last of five days in Atlanta, where I’ve been attending seminars.
I had a "go" light, and the driver — without looking around — pulled a quick turn and narrowly missed me — but only because I hollered at the top of my lungs.
Anyhow, If I hadn’t screamed so loudly, I wouldn’t be here writing.
I’m still a bit shaken up. Need to chill out some more. Tomorrow, I’m headed back home to New York.

So would you say Atlanta drivers are more dangerous then NY drivers? I think Atlanta has become a very dangerous place to drive. By the way I work in Atlanta and see scary things no the road.
