Britney Spears — who was reportedly downing lots of Cokes, sucking on lots of lollipops and eating sweets in a big way while in rehab — was released by the Promises Malibu Treatment Center.
Allegedly, this occured after "successfully completing their program,” her rep said in a statement.
My big questions are these:
- What does "successfully completing" mean?
- Is she still going for sugary things in a big way?
- And was this recent Star report about her sugar-seeking behavior true? (See what I wrote earlier.)

FYI, as I mentioned previously, there is hope for sugar addicts, even if you’re using the sugar as a temporary fix to get you over substance abuse.
So here’s my message to Britney Spears and others, I’d like to encourage you: You can have a much sweeter, more happy, healthy, sane life without all those nutrient-lacking quickie carbs. Those sweets might give you a quick high, but inevitably you’re going to crash and maybe even do bizarre things like beat a car with an umbrella.
But put wholesome foods in your body and you can thrive. So take heart, all sugar sufferers!
