Wow! The articulate, outspoken, and super-nice anti-sugar advocate and low-carb proponent Jimmy Moore posted a really nice announcement — more like a very glowing, praise-filled advertisement — about the January publication of my book SUGAR SHOCK! to his Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb Blog.
Jimmy — a formerly obese sugar addict — is a wonderful man with his heart in the right place, as I’ve come to learn over a number of months while we’ve exchanged information and ideas (even if we haven’t always agreed.) Not surprisingly, Jimmy has commanded quite a following, both on the Internet for his blog, and for his self-published book, Livin’ La Vida Low-Carb.
In fact, Jimmy was one of a number of ex sugar addicts and experts, who participated in my Fast-Track, Kick-Sugar Countdown teleseminars earlier this year. You can hear free replays of the first few calls here.
In Jimmy’s post to his blog about my book, he even devoted considerable space to a number of endorsements that I’ve received to date, including ones from bestselling authors Dr. Mehmet Oz, Dr. Christiane Northrup, Dr. Dharma Singh Khalsa, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, film producer Harvey Weinstein, and others.
Jimmy even contributed his own endorsement:
"When I was losing 180 pounds in 2004 on a low-carb diet, one of the keys to my radical transformation was ending my lifetime addiction to sugar once and for all before it literally killed me. I can proudly say I no longer consume sugar because it is ‘rat poison’ to me and my health and weight are better than they have ever been. Connie Bennett has written one of the most important health books of the 21st Century in SUGAR SHOCK! because obesity and diabetes are spinning way out of control. Connie shows us that there are ways to overcome both of these preventable epidemics and live a sweeter life in the process without the sugar. Every single diabetic and obese person needs to read this book!"

Thanks so very much, Jimmy, for your kind words!
