Our new online support community comes to you, courtesy of The Blog Frog, an amazing site that lets you integrate a community into your blog.
For months, I've been looking for a new home for our online community.
Back in November 2002, we began as KickSugar. Then, last year, we moved to Ning with a new name, Stop Sugar Shock. But recently, Ning's bubble burst, at TechCrunch put it and started charging a lot of money to maintain this free social network.
Yesterday, at the BlogHer '10 Conference (which I finally got into), I had the pleasure of meeting co-founders Holly Hamann and Rustin (Rusty) Banks, as well as director of marketing Lori Anderson.
Over lunch with them, I learned about their amazing story how Rusty had been an aerospace engineer, who began helping his wife to set up a thriving community on her blog. From there, he left his job and teamed up with Holly Hamann, a mom, blogger and veteran marketer for tech startups to create The Blog Frog.
So join us at our new Stop Sugar Shock & Smart Habits Community!
And if you'd like to be a community leader, please let me know. We're looking for people to make our new community a thriving, exciting, nurturing, exciting place!
