Kraft Foods — under fire for selling unhealthy, sweet, fatty foods — has taken the sugar out of its popular, letter-shaped Post Alpha-Bits cereal. It now has zero grams of sguar and three grams of fiber per serving.
The reformulated cereal — which made its debut in 1957 — arrives in grocery and drug stores this month.
The box even touts that they’re "rich in whole grains like Cheerios."
Post also has taken other flavorssuch as Marshmallow Alpha-Bits from store shelves.
While all of this sounds promising, I’m still withholding judgment on the new Post Alpha-Bits cereals, because I haven’t yet seen the ingredients label so I don’t know what chemicals, sugars or artificial sweeteners it contains.
