Tonight we held the last our four preview calls to gear people up for my Fast-Track, Kick-Sugar Countdown Program.
Again, we had one inspiring "Sugar Kicker" after another!
Golly, how can I reply to Mombanana’s utterly wonderful remark? Thanks so much! Here’s what she said after our tele-seminar:
"Another great call! …It was wonderful. I think that Connie should be on the Oprah show, don’t you all? She definitely deserves the success. Anyone know how we can make
that happen?"Anyway, I also wanted the names of Dana’s cook book, but I’m so tired right now, I’m going to bed, so I haven’t checked out Connie’s blog for the title. Also, that tabouli recipie…I didn’t
have a pen available and I would like it. Anyone got it? Good night. Hear you all tomorrow! P.S. It was so neat saying "hi" to you Myra. Thank you again. Fondly, Mombonana
Love your idea, Mombonana! Your thoughts are much appreciated! The name of some of Dana Carpender’s books are How I Gave Up My Low Fat Diet and Lost 40 Pounds, 500 Low-Carb Recipes, 15-Minute Low-Carb Recipes and her latest, The Every Calorie Counts Cookbook, which is due out this spring.
Sherry wrote about the call:
"I agree, Mombonana! Another great call! I guess we all get something
different out of each tele-conference, but the one point that made me
first: laugh out loud and then, second: shout out loud, "Can I have
an Amen, Sister!?!?" was the point Dana made about having an
occasional "indulgence" instead of "cheating". LOVED that
differentiation. But the thing that really struck home was when she
said she’d have the "treat" it was like, `Hmmm…yeah that was okay,
but not as great as I expected it to be.’ And then she said that it
was like an old friend she use to have but now they didn’t have so
much in common with anymore."I LOVED THAT! I’ve always thought of certain junk foods as if they
were friends to comfort me. That’s why I know this [Fast-Track program]
will help me to put a distance between me and my so-called pseudo-friend."Nice to hear you, too Myra! Its great to have you and Connie
mentoring us and sharing the strategies you guys had to figure out
on your own…strategies that may help us. And I particularly like
the slant that we aren’t all cookie-cutter robots but that you guys
recognize us as individuals and try to help us figure out what works
for us."I’m about to go to bed, but I feel good about tomorrow and am all
prepared to have protein in the morning. (Thanks for that tip, Dana.
I’d originally planned to have steel cut oats in the A.M.)
Goodnight all. Sherri."
Well, I feel so heartened by your remarks! Tomorrow’s the big day when the Fast-Track, Kick-Sugar Program starts! More soon!
