Link Between Morbid Obesity in Tots & Lower IQs, Study Shows

On some tight deadlines for my book SUGAR SHOCK! but I thought you should know about a new study which links morbid obesity amongst toddlers with cognitive problems.

University of Florida researchers — writing in the Journal of Pediatrics — studied morbidly obese tots (who weigh at least 150 percent of their ideal body weight before age 4) and found them to have lower IQ scores, cognitive delays and brain lesions similar to those seen in Alzheimer’s disease patients.

How tragic.
