It’s nice to see MSNBC and Forbes draw attention to the fact that we should eat healthy, protein-rich snacks rather than ones chock-filled with sugar.
As I imagine many of you know by now, those sugary snacks — candies, cookies, soda, etc. — shoot up your blood sugar levels and then ultimately plunge, leading you to hunger, moodiness, and more.
Even so, as a number experts have told me, beware of the recommendations here to drink juice and protein bars — I haven’t found one yet that doesn’t contain either some form of sugar or artificial sweetener.
Despite my qualms with a few points in this piece, it’s great to have more and more articles point to the down side of eating those blood-sugar bouncing snacks.
