Did you know that March is National Nutrition Month®, an annual nutrition education and information campaign sponsored annually by the American Dietetic Association?
The ADA designed the campaign "to focus attention on the importance of making informed food choices and developing sound eating and physical activity habits."
Here’s the suggested proclamation that the ADA urges peoople get signed by governors or mayors around the country.
Well, let’s hope some of this focus on nutrition will reach those who most need it — people suffering from weight issues, health concerns, etc.
To help students learn about nutrition in honor of the ADA’s special month, Education World compiled a wealth of great resources "for teachers who mix healthful nutrition into their classroom instruction."

Special thanks to Joshua Rosenthal, founder of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I’m going to school, for the heads up on the fact that March is National Nutrition Month.
