Come meet me today, Sat., March 10, for my SUGAR SHOCK! book signing and chat at 4:15 p.m. at the wonderful Border’s bookstore at Columbus Circle.

First off, you’ll get to chuckle at me and hear me poke fun of myself and my days in 1998 as an "Ex-Sugar Shrew!"

• Then, you’ll learn some skills on how to easily face the constant bombardment of sugary enticements.

You’ll even laugh with us as we de some really fun, empowering, I-can-say-no-to-sugar exercises.

Yes, I will try my best to help you to distance yourself from the culprit carbs that tempt you the most.

This book signing and chat are happening, thanks to the amazing support from Border’s (see the book display in front of the store in three places).

In addition, this event is getting the support of the wonderful Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I studied last year. (Earlier today, I’ll speak for five minutes before some 600 current IIN students, urging them to go out and give sugar talks. I hope that at 4:15 p.m., right after class gets out, that many of them will join us at my book signing.)
