Is It Really Organic? You May Be Being Ripped Off, Web Guru Dr. Mercola Says

If you don’t know about Dr. Joseph Mercola, you must. You see, Dr. Mercola, a well-meaning, health-minded, much-acclaimed osteopath/educator, runs the wildly popular website, DrMercola.com, which always posts absolutely fascinating articles.

Frankly, whenever I have time, I’m always eager to read what story either Dr. Mercola or his team of writers has uncovered. I’m also curious to get Dr. Mercola’s take on the subject, too.

Today I want to draw your attention to Dr. Mercola’s utterly intriguing post in which he warns you that "You Are Being Ripped Off by Much of the `Organic’ Food You are Buying."

Uh-oh! Does that mean whenever I buy organic apples at the Associated Market in my neighborhood rather than at the local health food store that they’re not really organic? This is a subject I need to learn more about.

Well, not only does Dr. Mercola offer some astute remarks in writing, but he gives you a video explanation all about the organic food industry.

He also refers you to a well-researched, very enlightening BusinessWeekOnline article called "The Organic Myth: Pastoral ideals are getting trampled as organic food goes mass market."

Incidentally, Dr. Mercola is co-author of the best-selling new book, The Great Bird Flu Hoax, which I’ll write more about later.
