McDonald’s Takes Super Sizing To New

In this climate of runaway obesity, why would McDonald’s even think of rolling out an even bigger burger than their biggest yet? Ah yes, the bottom line beckons and the competion like Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. threatens.

Actually, McDonald’s Third Pounder — which is being tested in California — appears to be competing with half-pounders from the two other fast food chains (just cited), which are owned by CKE Restaurants.

Ah, what a different perspective I have.

And I’m keen to learn when will it be bigger news to offer smaller, tastier, more nutritious burgers? Or am I just dreaming?
