Noted Chromium Researcher Finds Mineral Curbs Carb Cravings

This morning, I was pleased to receive a personal e-mail from cutting-edge scientist Malcolm McLeod M.D., who has done some groundbreaking work studying the role of the mineral chromium picolinate in treating carb cravings, depression and more.

"I’ve been reading your blog and am fascinated," he wrote. "I am a psychiatrist and clinical researcher. I discovered chromium’s role in the treatment of many of the symptoms you mention."

Immediately, I recognized Dr. McLeod’s name, because my researchers and I had looked at some of his studies months ago!

Anyhow, next I clicked over to Dr. McLeod’s The Chromium Connection blog and was very intrigued. I then went to his website, where I learned about his various patents.

Then, I learned that Dr. McLeod has written a book, Lifting Depression: The Chromium Connection, which came out recently.

In it, he discusses the benefits of chromium: "an increased sense of well-being, decreased chance of heart disease and diabetes, relief from PMS, carbohydrate cravings, weight gain and fatigue."

Granted I have not yet read the book so I can’t recommend it yet, but I suspect that it’s a pretty interesting book, because I’m familiar with this researcher.

By the way, you might find the following item of particular interest: "Chromium reduces carb cravings?"

And if you have questions for Dr. McLeod, just post them to him on Chromium Connection blog, and this busy researcher/author will answer your chromium-carb questions personally.
